Our Journey

First steps: BS2 was founded

Our CEO, Robert Brown, founded the company he called BS2 in Dublin. His vision was to deliver innovative, data-driven solutions that empower businesses to make smarter decisions.

Early growth: A rising profile

Just four years later, we secured a contract with a major utilities client, marking our first IBM Maximo assignment and taking a key step in establishing our global presence.

Key partnerships: A major leap

We were then awarded transformation contracts with a major utilities client and a leading FinTech client. These long-standing partnerships have continued to evolve, as we support their ongoing success in a changeable environment.

Building Industry Trust

This was followed by our appointment as a preferred vendor on a major national utility’s IT and Data Services Framework, further solidifying our expertise and trusted partnership in the industry.

New name, new opportunities

BS2 was relaunched as Nucleo, with Jody Gilhooly joining Robert Brown as co-founder. We then embarked on a period of rapid expansion, growing our headcount by 300% in subsequent years.

Continuous growth and expansion

We expanded our operations with the launch of a new hub in Cork. In the same year, we secured a contract with a third major utilities client, further expanding our impact in the sector.

A bright future

We recently opened a new office in Dublin city centre. As we continue to grow, we have expanded our divisions, services, and our portfolio of clients across multiple sectors.

2025 marked our expansion into the UK, bringing our collaboration, consultancy, and expertise to a new market.
